Abstract

The Plant Parts Box Media (Bill) functions to help teachers convey knowledge. The aim of developing this Bill media is to concretize the understanding of the material presented and make it easier to understand the material about plant parts and their functions. This research is a Research and Development study by carrying out media development and validity testing on experts. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observations, tests and questionnaires. Media implementation was carried out on class IV MI students by analyzing the effectiveness of using the Plant Parts Box (Bill) media in science learning. In the first trial stage of media use, the average pretest score was 52.22 and posttest was 63.33. In the second trial, the average pretest score was 70 and posttest 86.11. Based on the results of trials I and II, it can be concluded that the Plant Parts Box (Bill) media is valid and effective in improving the learning outcomes of class IV MI students in the material on plant parts and their functions.
